Returns & withdrawal

Right of withdrawal (14 days)

In accordance with EU Directive 2011/83/EU on consumer rights, you have 14 calendar days from the day you receive your order to withdraw from your purchase, without giving any reason.

If the deadline falls on a Saturday, Sunday or public holiday, it is extended to the next working day.

How to exercise your right

Notify us of your decision before sending the product back, using one of the following:

• You may use the model withdrawal form from the EU directive, but it is not mandatory.

Return conditions

• Send the product back within 14 days of notifying your withdrawal.
• Product complete, unused, in original packaging with all accessories, manuals and documents.
• Bikes must be returned with less than 5 km on the odometer and no trace of use beyond the minimal handling required to establish the product's nature and proper function (comparable to in-store inspection).
• Return shipping costs are at the customer's expense. For bulky items (bikes) we can arrange carrier pickup on quote.
• Keep the shipping proof until refund is received.

Refund

We refund within 14 days of receiving the returned product (or earlier proof of return shipment) using the same payment method as the original order, unless you expressly agree otherwise.

We may withhold reimbursement until we have received the goods back.

A reduction may be applied if the product shows depreciation resulting from handling beyond what was necessary to establish its nature and function.

Exceptions to the right of withdrawal

• Goods made to the consumer's specifications or clearly personalised (custom paint, made-to-order graphics kits, engravings…).
• Sealed goods which were unsealed after delivery and cannot be returned for hygiene or health protection reasons.
• Service contracts fully performed before the end of the withdrawal period with your express prior consent.

Defective products & legal warranties

Independently of withdrawal, you benefit from the EU legal warranty of conformity (2 years from delivery) and the warranty against hidden defects (2 years from discovery).

If a product is defective or non-conforming, contact contact@rideondistribution.com with photos/videos. Return shipping is then on us.
